Like the New York Yankees and Boston Celtics in the 1950s, Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom prevails as a true championship dynasty. Fighting off all challengers, the firm is our winner and national champ for the eighth straight year.
In the 2008 annual survey, more than 400 directors chose the law firms they most admire locally and nationally. Two firms that didn’t make last year’s national Top 20—Paul Weiss Rifkind Wharton & Garrison and Hogan & Hartson—jumped onto the 2008 list. They replaced Baker Botts and Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale & Dorr.
