From developing strategy and overseeing risk to managing executive compensation and planning talent succession—all while balancing shareholders’ and customers’ expectations and regulators’ demands—a director’s list of responsibilities seems endless. Add in emerging technologies that are changing the way companies do business and political and regulatory influences both domestically and internationally, and you have a recipe for director overload if boards do not properly educate their directors on the myriad of issues impacting public company boards today.

With this in mind, Corporate Board Member is bringing its premier board education event back to the west coast! Since 2004, Corporate Board Member has held the Annual Boardroom Summit in New York, assembling 400+ board members, C-level officers, and general counsel from public companies across the nation and added the Boardroom Summit to its West Coast Board Committee Peer Exchange line-up in 2012.

The West Coast Boardroom Summit will help directors better understand their fiduciary and compliance requirements, and also enable participants to play a more effective role in creating long-term value for their companies. And at a price you can afford! Other director education programs cost 3 to 4 times as much, but no other event offers the same level of content and attendees as Corporate Board Member’s Boardroom Summit and Peer Exchange!

Attendees at the West Coast Boardroom Summit include:

  • Corporate Directors
  • Chief Executive Officers
  • Board Committee Chairs
  • Lead Directors
  • General Counsel
  • Corporate Secretaries
  • Presidents
  • Chief Financial Officers
  • Other Senior Management who work closely with the board

West Coast Summit Peer Exchange
